Does anyone know what if any reserve units the Tacoma FD has and what stations they are located at.

I didn't see anything on their web page. http://www.tacomafiredepartment.org
In their auditor report, there are some reserve and old apparatus stored at the old station 12 (2316 E. 11th St) http://www.tacomafiredepartment.org/files/AuditReports/Buracker_files/04Chapter3.pdf

Their old Mack Aerialscope is sitting out back at the old station 12 rotting away. It hasn't moved in 3 years. People buy and refurb old Aerialscopes all the time, so it's nice to know that the City of Tacoma treats assets that way...

Does anyone know if Tacoma Fire still has both hovercraft fireboats? The other day while I was in Tacoma, I only seen one at the station on the Thea Foss Waterway (E."D" St. and E.11th St.) and the station on Ruston Wy. looked empty (possibly closed).

They still have both of them. Neither are staffed. They pull a crew of an Engine to staff them. What a waste.

BTW, they are surface effect ships. Not hovercraft. :D

One was fully staffed up until Initiative 695 hit and caused the city to cut back on everything. Thank you Tim Eyman!

And I believe TFD keeps most of its reserve equipment at the shops.
