Post subject: | Did South King County change freqs? |
Using a Uniden Bearcat Truck Tracker II, I noticed on 8/27 when I powered it up it looses the tracking connection to a particular talk channel. Also interesting is that before when all was working fine the squelch had no function. Now, after there is a delay between talkers, the squelch is activated. I've checked my freqs and they are the same as before. Did they change to another data freq? I did notice the display has data lined out. Not sure if it was always this way. Any thought would be appreciated. |

The "data" indicator on the Unidens refers to the "Data Skip" function that's supposed to keep the scanner from holding on pager, telemetry and other digital signals. I've never played with it, but maybe it has some effect on finding the control channel (still 851.8125). |

I wonder if the scanner has decided to go BO? |
