In looking at the data for Pierce County that we have here I am seeing all VHF/UHF frequencies. I thought I had seen comments indicating that Pierce County had gone to an 800mhz trunking system. Is this correct? Also if it has, have all cities police and fire transfered over and are the frequencies and talk groups published on this site?
Many thanks,

Tacoma has switched. Pierce Co. can still be heard on all the existing conventional freqs.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have struggled with being able to monitor the Tacoma system. Running Uniden BC250/785, and even with the freqs, cannot seem to lock into the system. Working better to just leave the channels nontrunked and listen that way.

Anyone having better luck?

Make sure the Control Channel you are using is 868.250. I have no problem listening to Tacoma. On my Uniden 246T, Pro-95, & Pro-94.

Then again I live in Tacoma
