Post subject:  SERS Locution testing
Locution testing has popped up on the SERS TRS. http://www.locution.com/
It was on a TG 560 which I have never seen active before.

Yes and no. These will be the new TGs but Locution is independent to New World. As of now, Locution will only be used at SNOPAC and will have dedicated radios for each dispatch TG for Locution.

The dispatchers know nothing about locution. ****** is saying nothing to any of the floor grunts. I got my info from a buddy at the fire department.

It Is typical of ****** to not say a word about anything to staff...

EVERYTHING HERE IS A SECRET FROM THE EMPLOYEES.

IMHO, I actually prefer Locution...I've heard/had too many mumble-mouthed MFer dispatchers in my time, including one in a major south Sound urban fire department who has such a bad "urban accent" you can't often decipher if you're hearing an EMS call or fire call. Then again, a field unit reported an accident a little while ago on "M as in Mormon Street".

Locution is just a notifier to stations, Dispatchers still give responding crews short reports.
