Hi All, I'm looking at getting a scanner, had one, lost it, never replaced it. Anyway, I live in Tumwater and don't get out towards McCord very often. Do may people catch anything good on the military air band that it's worth looking at a scanner with that band? Any thoughts would be helpful. Patrick Long |

Well, I would have to say yes, go for a military air scanner if you can. I live in Yakima and thought purchasing a mil-air scanner would be a waste, but it has opened up a whole new world of scanning! So much so, that I had to purchase a second mil-air scanner just to keep up when several things are happening at once. Good luck to you -Cameron |

Get a Pro-97 from radio shack, does good on milair and easy to use and you can also tune in PL tones and those boring police freqs if nothing is going on. But if you live in Tumwater you'll hear lots from Mc Chord and Gray Army Air Field as well as the Fort Lewis range. |
