My BC996XT threw a fit a few days ago so I installed the latest update, since then I have not been able to pick up Bonney Lake.

Can I blame this on the update or is it a change in Bonney Lake's frequency?

Thanks~

Before I had a problem with the scanner I was getting the signals loud and clear.
After updating and reprogramming I am getting nothing.
Since there seems to be nothing else digital in my programmed list, I can't tell if it's just Bonney lake or any digital reception.

Thanks~

Knitnweed, try Airlift on 155.295. They run P25 digital with a NAC of 293. Also, make sure you have the proper control programmed for the system.

Decided to dig out the magnetic antenna to see if that did anything. Strangely it did and I picked up Bonney Lake dispatch; so it's not the scanner.
With the outside antenna attached again and B L on priority it came in again. The scanner showed the priority icon, the frequency and P25. Does that mean B.L. had gone P25 now?
And why do I only get reception from them very rarely?
Oh well, there's still everybody else - for now.

Thanks~

If it is P25, do I need to make any changes anywhere?

Thanks~

PierceCo's system gets entered as Moto Type 2 800 MHz, and when you program the talkgroups, set 'audio type' to "ALL". The XTs won't unsquelch if they detect an encrypted transmission, so you may see the display stop on a TG with no audio.
