Hey all, According to the Snohomish County Emergency Radio System, the Snoh County trunk system only operates on 4 sites: Gold Hill - does anyone have the location or coordinates of this site? Deer Creek King Lake "Snowcat" - does any have the location or coordinates of this site? In addition to my two requests for locations above, older records show other simulcasts. Anyone have any info they can share? Thanks much. |

"Snowcat" would either refer to the vehicle used to access the mountain sites during the winter or the Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force (SNOCAT). |

Thanks everyone. Super-helpful. Oddly, SCERS listed "Snowcat" on their website as a "site." Next question - I'm having trouble correlating the numbers on the map with the table above. What is the significance of the numbers on the map? Many thanks. |

The lower numbers are actually underneath them but you can't see them unless you go 3D:

I'd looked at the table figuring the might be the FIRST in the site - so when that did correlate I called uncle. Sorry, a bit bleary-eyed from work. Many thanks. |

So now that I've deciphered the table, I'm more baffled than ever. I downloaded SERS from another site, and their site data seems woefully inadequate - particularly since I'm most interest in reception in more remote regions of the county. But, parsing through all this data and manually entering it in FreeScan seems like a bear - and I'm not confident I'd get it right. I sorted the date a couple different ways in Excel, but it's not exactly clear what the control channels for each site are. So let me beg - does anyone have a good Snoh County database file? I'm on a Uniden 996XT using Freescan. And heck, while I have King County wired, I imagine I'll encounter the same problems in counties all over WA state (though non-trunked counties, the majority) shouldn't be too bad. I'm begging! :) |

The first one is a list of all the frequencies they're licensed for. They license each frequency at each site they (may) use it at, plus the inputs for the mobiles.The FCC doesn't care which frequencies they use as control channels, so you'll never see that in the FCC's database. Same goes for PL tones and NACs. |

I'm begging! :) All Washington counties are already here in a Freescan file you can upload: http://www.interceptradio.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4841 Open the file and check the counties you want to upload to your scanner. It would probably be a good idea to assign some quick-keys (or bank keys or whatever) to the areas you select. |
