Sounded like the radio techs were testing PSOPS N3 last night around 22:47 hrs. Lots of voice testing with coordinates given out.

For that search mission, SNOPAC did a patch from 155.415 conventional (SCSO F-1) to the PSOPS-N3 talkgroup. I believe it was for the benefit of Snohomish County DEM personnel who were responding to assist.

Snohomish County SO is not on the 800mhz system yet - they are slated to move over when Phase II is completed.

Brad.

Yeah T68

That sounds like it makes more sense. I was listening for most of the morning and it did sound like a search now that you mention it. They were doing voice checks, and there was no countdown like usual. I think they were calling out the peoples names. They were making comments that the canyons were making their voices echo. Also one of the "teams" kept saying that he was on the "other" when "Base" was calling and getting no response from him. It sound like it around the Pilchuck area. A lot of Base to Team XX try going down road XXXX, I think they are talking about foresty roads. Nice pick up T68.

Heard on the news about a search going on that night, so I turned on my scanner, Heard the similar comms to what you heard on 155.4150.
