Anyone know of any plans of a merger between East Pierce Fire and Rescue(fire district 22) and Pierce County Fire Districts 12 and 20? I saw Medic 1231 in Auburn yesterday and it was sporting an East Pierce Fire and Rescue logo. Nick |

Nick Districts 12 and 20 merged with east pirece last year they are keeping there unit numbers for now if you have any more qustions about pierce county you can get a hold of me here thanks

So it is more likely that they just consolidated services for now and are looking into merging and having unit numbers accordingly. Nick |

Contacted East Pierce and asked. They are only consolidated with District 12 for the time being. It has to be put to a vote of the east pierce and district 12 voters. The person who emailed me back said that most likely the reason that 1231 was an East Pierce unit was because District 12's unit was out of repairs. Nick |
