I can't find anything on First Response, anyone even know what band they use? There ARE mobile radios in the cars...not just the nextels they use.

When I worked at first response we only used nextels but we were looking at/testing a 460 mhz system and I have also been interested to find out anything new

I believe their 460 radios are up. I've seen their vehicles with the antennas in place. They are using a T1 patch as I recall. Their dispatch is Portland, or at least it was when I worked there.

I'm gonna do some research I've got a buddy who may still work there i'm not sure i left in nov of '02 but he was there a while i might be able to get them. The T-1 to Metro West is how we were planning on working the system but i dont know if that's what they finally went with or not, plus there was talk of metro west going by the wayside as far as being the FRI dispatch center.

Last Resort uses LTR in Portland and in Seattle they use LTR as well. If you want the info for Seattle Last Resort I will post it...

Some answers and confirmations. Yes we are using LTR in addition to our Nextels right now. We are transistioning to the LTR's. I don't have the frequency's or talkgroups, Action hasn't sent them to me yet. LTR over VoIP on a T1 to MWA. Still trying to clean it up so it's not fully implimented yet. It was really dirty up here until recently.

By the way, I only recognize 2wayguru. But I'll say hello to eveyone. I had no idea so many past employees were keeping up with InterceptNW.

So has anyone been listening? They use one of the LTR repeaters on Tiger that's listed on this site in the LTR section. I can post them if anyone needs it specific. Everything they do is by account number though, so I can't ever tell where they are or even where the cars districts are...they get some good calls though!

First Response is an alarm response/patrol security company that is based out of Portland and has an office in Seattle. Pretty squared away outfit.
