Very cool catch. What was with the low flying helo circling a small pleasure craft just off the 520 bridge on Friday at about 5:30? This big boy was straight out of Vietnam, looked like a huey.....WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP.
I can tell you what it wasn't: media; coast guard; guardian one; air lift. The descending sun cast a perfect glare on this machine so I couldn't view the skin properly, appeared to be dark beige, almost military in complexion. Harbor patrol was also trailing the pleasure craft in a strange manor but from some distance. Anybody you know of leave the pad during the 5:00 hour?
