Did anyone here Rural Metro Ambulance Dispatching and talking to their units on Snohomish County SNOCOM Fire Dispatch 5 ? SNOCOM made several attempts to say they were on the wrong Channel and they did not respond. What is weird is RM Units were transmitting back as if they were on the right channel.

That's unusual... Our dispatchers don't even have the 800 available to patch, they keep a handheld in a desk drawer if they have to relay for a crew with a bad radio , or the ring-down line fails.
On the other hand, I've been getting really weirdly-distorted audio over the Nextel all morning, so its's possible that the tech guy is installing the oft-rumored 800mhz link, and inadvertently patched it to the Nextel base.
