Some red faces at station (number removed to protect the guilty).

Dispatch: Station XX respond to a commercial fire alarm... at... your station."
FD: "Show all units available, it was, um, smoke from cooking."

SNOPAC Dispatched E24 to Station 24 I believe yesterday and they immediately got on the air to go in service and say no problem.

I did not hear, so must be from another Dept.

I will say it now...

If it pops up on my screen, I WILL dispatch it  I almost pooped my pants one night when a private ambulance in North County came up on the air to let me know that they had flames showing from the fire station across the street.

If it is Dist 3, I will call into the station first.... After being a Vol for so many years there, I know the odds are that Brice just burnt dinner.
