Looking for WsDOT frenquencies, basically the status channels of the different sites. I have most of the ones in the SW part of the state but would like a statewide list as well |

From my understanding of it, there is not a trunk tracker available to track the WSDOT trunk system. Dave A |

Since the channel count is pretty low at each site, and the amount of traffic is pretty low, you could just scan it in conventional and probably do just fine. |

The status channels have a constant carrier on them but they do cover an entire region usually. I'm not aware that there is a scanner that can monitor in trunking mode on the EF Johnson LTR systems but the FT-60 I just purchased has a hot reciever on 800mhz and I listen to the home channel when there is traffic then switch over to the status channel |

:) When I got my Pro 2052 2 Years ago WSDOT Just Went Trunk and at That Time There was no way to Track it. I Have Been Listening Convenenaly (Forgive my Spelling  ) I Thought That by now There Would be a Scanner out That Would Trunk Track it, Joined: 20 Feb 2004 Posts: 34 Posted: Wed Jan 26, 2005 12:25 am Post subject: WSDOT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From my understanding of it, there is not a trunk tracker available to track the WSDOT trunk system. Yes, there are scanners that will track LTR systems as there are a few listed on this very site. HOWEVER, WSDOT uses a Multi-Net II LTR system which can not be tracked with any scanners at this time. OK...I am not confused anymore. Carry on! |

I have a Pro-2004 with sound squelch that will allow you to scan pass the status channel but it will give you a squelch burst everytime it passes a dead carrier status channel. Better than nothing I guess. |

I usually monitor the home channel then switch over to the status to hear both sides |
