Apparently there's a TG on an IWN site specifically for Snoq. pass, that covers from Preston through the pass....A C2C TG was also added for that area....

I wonder if they're talking about existing TGs and just enabling them on an IWN site, or if it's a dedicated TG for that area....

Completion date was 10/2014 so......

Also noted that WSP has a TG for SWAT that's supposed to work statewide, I'm assuming that means IWN... since not all areas are 700 (yet)...

Listening to the troopers when they cut over, they still called out "Seattle" and "North Bend" and such. I think there are separate TGs for the old conventional sites; they're patched together as 208 and 209. Likewise, there are CAR North, South, and East groups active.

I haven't heard any indication that the DOT channels are tied to IWN. The 151/156 links to the LTR system are still active.

Thanks for the link Techno..

Flash- when we went away from multiple repeaters to simulcast/voting in Jefferson Co. the guys called out their repeaters for almost 5 years afterwards. Hard habit to break. The dispatchers liked it still because it gave them an indication of where everybody was. Now they have AVL so not as bid a deal.

Thanks!

Here are some WSP system observations.....

TGIDs start in 59 (DEC)

59XYY

X = district

YY=1, 2, or 3 = car to car channel
YY= 8,9,10,11 = area channel

I HAVE logged attempted affiliations on 59000, 59009, 59010, 59103, 59200, and 59206, but with being an affiliation request without a channel grant, no audio to ID...

59103 by logic should be district 1 car 3, but don't have a way to confirm yet.

The YY = 00, ie 59000 and 59200 is also an unknown, but using logic I would think it would be something somewhat important, like an emergency revert TG or an ATG...

59000,59009, and 59010 is an anomaly because there is no district 0, nor is there a district 10.. so..

The YY=4, 5, and 6, have not been identified, or seen other than the instance of 59206 attempted affiliation....

Anyone wanna shed some light or have any other observations?

Per the other site, 59950 is the Shelton WSP academy.

It would make sense that X = 9 = Academy

I'm sure there are other X's and YY's that will show up sooner rather than later...

As more and more users are loaded onto the 700 side of things, I expect to see more and more attempted (and denied) affiliations on IWN....

So, I post my found TG on here, and a couple hours later it magically appears on TOS.....

(1) Talkgroups Updated (WSP District 1) RBMTS 2017-01-29 17:42:23
Updated mode assignments for 3 talkgroups(WSP District 1) RBMTS 2017-01-29 17:40:34
Added Talkgroup 59103 Car 3 RBMTS 2017-01-29 17:40:00

Really? Gonna take hundreds of hours of data collection?

What next? Should I tell them about the statewide emergency talkgroup (59999) ?

The info was submitted by a RR contributor and is documented. I can assure you ** I ** did not hijack the data from this site. I try to be very careful regarding that topic. I can't speak to where others get their info from.

Id say what to tell them but you know what they say about choosing your battles. :)

Maybe it was just a coincidence then..... (tightens tinfoil hat)..... I wasn't expecting a name, hence my carefully worded request. :D

They're not just Car-1/2/3/4 any more. In Dist2, they're Car-North -East -South. They started by saying "car 2 north" but lately just "car north" as the "2" is really district now. The analog channels still exist and should have their old names, so it would be sensible not to use numbers on the trunked channels. That said, I'm sure there are a bunch of tacs with numbers and maybe more.

206 is encrypted, shows up during crowd control events.
