ALF Enterprises suggested I contact this group. I would like to get into "scanning" again. I have been reading whatever I can find about the state of the art on the internet; most confusing.
I would like to talk to someone familiar with the Snohomish County Trucked system (Motorola II, Smartzone?). Appears the Bearcat 796 desktop is scanner I need?
Some of my questions are: could I pick up the King Cty trunked system from Arlington?
Can you program in just the Talk Groups you want to listen to?
Is there someone I could hire to program the scanner?
What do I need as far as SW to program the scanner?
Thanks for your help.

I don't know if this interests you or not but here is a site for an online scanner for Snohomish County.

Thanks very much Nick. I had found that Site yeaterday but couldn't get it to work. Today I figured out I need the Winamp Player.

I have a surround sound, 3 speaker system on my computer, when listening I hear two different broadcasts; one from each of the 2 main speakers. Do you know what why or what that is?
Still looking to set up a scanner anyone.

Nick, again, thanks very much.

This is why you are hearing different things on each speaker.

What you are hearing on your left speaker is North Snohomish County.
What you are hearing on your right speaker is South Snohomish County.
