Steve Are looking for the East Pierce County WSP freq. If so it is 154.740.

:D :D The new WSP Dispatch Channels for Tacoma - Pierce County are 154.905 (R) repeating 155.52 and 154.74 (R) repeating 159.21. As noted before - the WSP is testing and modifying the inputs and outsputs of almost ALL WSP stations. The end result is that the WSP hopes to have EACH and every station or channel using a repeater system for local dispatching. This will take time and many changes are expected. KEEP your years tuned. In the Walla Walla - Tri-cities area 155.52 is being tested as an input to 154.665 (R). MTM

When they 'test' the repeater pair, how often do they end up going to a different input later on, just curious.

It all depends on how the system works --- or doesn't work. One mountaintop site may "Hear" another "area" using the same frequency - even if the PL tone is not the same. It just depends on "real-life" testing to make sure it all works. The WSP only has a certain amount of radio frequencies to use. It takes two frequencies for each pair - so 30 frequencies means 15 channels or LESS, depending on system usage. Each District will have a simplex car to car and 155.37 and 155.475 are simplex - statewide. So re-use of certain frequencies could cause problems. A mobile unit near Olympia could access a repeater near Bellingham. MTM

Ok, I can hear the E'Burg repeater on Hyak in areas just to the south of Olympia. I have 155.445 as CAR 1 and 154.755 as CAR 3 and the Sea area c/c as 155.460, any others?
