462.35 (156.7) (R). Sounded kinda warehousey. Not a very strong signal in Seattle. Boeing is the only license that makes sense. Apparently this has been around for a while; it was put in the DB here long ago.

Sure you have the right frequency here? That's definitely UW Parking on 100003 although they didn't have any automation last time I listened. 100004 also matches their shuttles.

Oh yes... just heard them talk about a traffic accident on I-5... so that kind of fits your description. I was going to say this sounds like some kind of parking facility.

Can someone confirm whom is on 142.8 Mhz? Hearing what sounds like a fire dispatch... chatter sounds military formal... Whidbey Island NAS?

Reception is flakey at best so hard to make out consistent sentences... and the signal strength (or lack there of) suggests it's far away.

I only have 142.800 (CSQ) as the input to 138.800, used at McMurdo Station in Antarctica....

Can you confirm Jim? If I'm hearing it down here then you should really hear it well.

PS. I hear P25 digital from the CREST system on 142 megs but haven't confirmed any analog from them...

I have monitored 142.800 for 2 days with 2 scanners and have only picked up anything with one of them.

The one that did pick up traffic was very weak and had static. I was able to determine that a female voice was heard as well as males but not well enough to copy anything that would indicate where it was coming from or who it was.

Still a mystery.

If it was coming from Canada the frequency would be not exactly on 142.800 due to the Canadian band plan would be like
142.775
142.785
142.815
142.845
At one time these frequencies were used by the RCMP in BC.

142.8 is a CREST freq on the Mt Helmcken site . All FD's and ambulance are analog on CREST . You probably heard the CFB Esquimalt base FD they as well as the MP's are on CREST . 380 MHz trunk for Whidby NAS FD . Hi Jim .

Just heard it last night. They finally were of pretty good strength and heard "Langford Exchange" which is up on Victoria. Sounded like some kind of trucking company -- didn't really sound like EMS or Fire.
