A few months ago I noticed that some other fire dispatch group is bleeding over to SNOPAC North TAC5 TG 720. I've even heard the SNOPAC dispatcher make reference about the bleed over. So they are hearing it too.
Anyone know what agency this is?

I was kinda wishing you were going to have the dispatcher comments. :D

Anyway it is Astoria Oregon, and we also hear them crystal clear every night at 1900, it is on the VHF freq that is patched to NP tac 5

Yeah. They don't say much other than it's bleed over and to try again.
Why always 1900?

Interesting that I'm hearing it fromt hat far away. That's a long haul for 154.430

That is just when they do their test, We also get bleed over from Skagit, that also sets off the pagers in Granite falls sometimes..

One of our 800 TG's picks up a fire tac TG in Canada, and they are crystal clear also. The old Everett VHF used to get Cannon Beach Oregon... There are several

As far as the dispatcher, I was pretty sure I would be able to tell who it was, she lives to talk on the radio, and telephone to the point where she is useless to work with.

Well I should feel lucky that I only hear the TG from OR. I've got a pretty good antenna setup.
Ken, sent you a PM.

Sounds like the same one that was on the OLD Kent PD/FD Moto TRS system circa early-mid 90's...Used to hear fire dispatches for places I'd never heard of before, then figured it out when they had a rash of accidents one night on the "King George Highway".

I will jack up the volumes at work today on those hidden low use TG's, and see If I can find what one it is. I had to do the radio training on my shift when we first got the system, so I play'd with it for a couple of weeks before I had to teach some of the crew just to get used to it. Have not had much use to turn them up in over a year or so.

If outside VHF agencies are incorrectly being output onto the 800 system there is probably a VHF receiver used as part of a cross band patch somewhere that needs some attention.

I could be speaking out my ass though. I don't have much infrastructure experience.
