I moved from Everett to Port Townsend, Wa. While there are thousands of listeners in Snohomish County it is not obvious. In Discovery Bay even the General Store is more interested in listening to police dispatches than in the radio. Some of the farm crew know that I have a scanner and regularly ask if anything interesting is going on. :arrow: |

The lady that runs that general store as well as her husband are volunteer firefighters. :wink: |

Indeed, this couple is involved in the Fire Department, and my neighbor up the hill is an EMS. But I have found a very extensive listening group out here. For some of us it's part of our daily conversation. Maybe I am just lucky, every where I go someone is listening, even Centex has a scanner on all the time. |

Yep- no doubt... CCFD#3 provides service into the county for the Gardiner area. 155.7825 narrow band if your interested.... One of the new Jefferson County sites will increase signal into the Disco Bay and Gardiner areas as soon as it goes online so some changes coming for the area. |
