Appears that Kitsap County Sheriff is simulcasting 155.430 on 155.385 (107.2) which is listed as Kitsap County Water Dept. In db. Not sure if it temp or not.

Hmmm... I don't listen to the Dihydrogen Monoxide department so I couldn't tell one way or another. They have in the past had "technical difficulties" resulting in similar occurrences, but the best one I heard was earlier on LE4 which had been "closed" for some reason although I heard no King County traffic there... possibly a maintenance activity :?: But I did hear a "CenCom Testing One, Two, Three;-----Breaker, Breaker One Nine, Breaker One Nine, Looks like we got us a Convoy" :bowrofl:

Some times when we throw a new frequency on line we will multicast a busy channel to it to see what our coverage might be from existing site(s). That way it doesn't bug anyone. We will also use that to see if any co-channel users might be affected... Im guessing they might use the same technique.

The simulcast transmitters on 155.43 have a problem covering parts of the Seabeck area. The transmitter on 155.385 covers that area well, so the two channels will probably be tied together until a new western site for 155.43 can be built later this year.

Sounds like the input of 151.145(107.2) is carrying both dispatch and mobiles.

There is an existing commo site above Brinnon, but they probably know this. It's been a few years since I rode up around there.
Maybe they should split the county by west/east or similar.

Way to high to simulcast in this case. And I believe the power not commercially supplied.
