I recently upgraded my antenna and cable at my house so I could hear the King Co. trunk. I mostly listen to Valley Com. Since doing this I have noticed something odd. I have noticed that many times when locked on to a specific Valley Com TG, for example Fire2, I hear what sounds like people talking on top of each other. Closer analysis of this I found that in the background was SNOCOM talking. I looked over the frequencies used for each TRS and I don't see anything that overlaps. Plus if the frequencies happened to overlap I would expect to hear Valley Com when I'm locked on a SNOCOM TG. Which never happens.

Anyone know whats going on?
I have recorded audio of this if someone cares to hear it.

you might have too much gain on your system and your hearing nearby frequency - I live in bellevue and there is so much air traffic crap that quite common with my diamond discone I get so much high watt bleed, try running a 10 or 20 db att on the input most scanners that are new do this.
