USGS Nationwide: simplex and repeater output - 169.825 Mhz.

USGS Cascades Volcano Observatory, Mt. St. Helens Area Radio System: simplex and repeater output - 168.425 Mhz.

There are 2 repeater sites, one at Coldwater Peak and the other at Marble Mountain. Callsign is KOD-305 but they usually ID as "Vancouver".

122.75 has in the past been used for aircraft traffic advisory comms between the USGS, sightseeing, and media aircraft.

I seem to remember that the last words of a certain Geologist were "Vancouver, this is it". Must have been on that KOD freq.

167.075 is the input for the 168.425 repeaters.

There is now a Temporary Flight Restriction in effect for a 5 mile
radius from the mountain. Freq 132.125 is assigned for the TFR.

Air to Air comms also continue on 122.750.

Soooo who was I hearing on 122.925 - 3 units- talking about the eruption right as it happened on Fri. sounded like one unit was asking for a TFR. It was in my scanner so must be forest service a-a or something like that.
