Tonight I was listening to a dispatch on 4A for a ladder truck response to 1-5 and Spokane St ramp. The robo dispatch said "refer to print out for incident details". What type of situation would warrant this?

Locution doesn't know how to say these things:
0 - 0 Sb I5 At Spokane
0 - 0 NB I5 AT SPOKANE

She says that every time they get dispatched to a highway/freeway.

Interesting. I would assume on how Locution does the system (actually picking a local voice to record words) they would have it say stuff like "I-5 AT MILE POST 156 WESTBOUND NEAR EXIT 158 BOEING FIELD"

That's reaaaaaaly long. The dispatcher ends up reading it on the response channel anyway, so no need to tie up the dispatch channel.

I'm using it as a example from what I have heard. I'm sure it would be easier to skip the exit part.

When I first heard this I assumed that the call had sensitive information that could not be said over the Air then I started cross referencing the audio with Live Dispatch on the Internet and discovered that Locution could not say certain areas on I-5
