Anybody know how the KCSO Deputy that wrecked his/her car on Petrovitsky Rd. just west of 140th Ave. SE on Thursday night is doing? I happened to drive by and the car looked totalled. Engines 41/42 were cutting the car open to get the guy out. There's been nothing in any of the papers or TV stations about it.

How did the wreck happen?

Sheriff's deputy extricated from patrol car after crash

A King County sheriff's deputy was extricated from his patrol car Thursday night following a crash in the Fairwood area east of Renton, a police dispatcher said.

It happened about 8:15 p.m. near 140th Avenue Southeast and Petrovitsky Road.

The deputy suffered injuries to an arm and hip, according to unconfirmed reports.

The deputy's condition and the details of the crash were not immediately available.

This was all I was able to find on Kingcountyjournal.com. It was in the paper september 17th.
