From a mountaintop near Wilkeson, Pierce County (elevation about 3600 feet): 159.5475 (233.6)- Sounds like buses- Montesano SD? 152.7575 (151.4)- Sounded like a lumber yard "Move those pallets, they're crushing that Hardee roofing stuff" No license here or Canada. 155.490 (123.0) Engine 2 and Rescue 2 returning to station. Big fire freq in Canada I guess... ------------ 154.755 (179.9) was great listening. This was the WSP academy; they were on the road course. "If you hit a cone, you're disqualified- LOSER! If you run over the hose on the skid pan, you will be doing a LOT of pushups, and you're disqualified- LOSER!" |

Yeah I heard the academy talk while driving south of Olympia. I wonder if they have a base or just used a high powered mobile. |

I saw a squad of about 8 WSP motorcycle units heading south bound on I5 yesterday, so i wonder if they were training in the area. |
