I'd also like to comment on Tower 136, which I think is on Mission Ridge. I first started hearing it at the Shrag Deal Rest Area, and finally lost it about 5 miles before Hyak. Looking at the terrain, it's not hard to see why.

See if WSP has a building up there. They like to use BPA facilities as well. They'll also need some sort of T1 connectivity. Either uWave or telco. |

BTW, those Doubletree freqs are all simplex, and they're slowly transitioning to Verizon PTT phones- and hating it, per the Source. |

Just wanted to add that most law enforecment agencies over here do not use LERN off Mission Ridge. The PL to access that is 110.9. The 460.500 - PL 131.8 will also trip the VHF side. Very interesting set up! |
