So I hear that about 1600 this afternoon (Sunday 15th) a small aircraft was escorted into Bellingham by an F-15. Anyone hear anything? |

I don't know about Bellingham or the 15th but there were two planes escorted out of the presidential 30NM TFR on the 13th and 14th. One of them, a Stinson, out of Harvey Field had just taken off and had an unfriendly encounter with an F-15 (out of Portland). He did an immediate 180 to the field, shut it down and waited till he was met by law enforcement. The F-15 did a zone 5 afterburner pass down the runway "Below Tree Level" to emphasize the fact that no one else should take off. |
