Didn't see anyhting posted, was wondering if there was any chatter or in the clear PD comms on this 8 hour standoff??( of course i caught hell from the wife for not having the scanner or my camera with me lol) I happen to be in west Seattle/Alki with the wife today and took a drive out thru Fauntleroy area and happen to come upon it. We ended watching for like 4 hours. Was Awesome to watch all the activity from across the street. snipers on roofs and all. Watched as they deployed the percussion/concussion? grenades a few times. Initial report was of an "aggitated' male subject with a shotgun. Guy finally surrendered peacefully. we watched as he was taken into custody and transported to harborview for "evaluation" Just was curious if there was any good talk on Seattle PD Tg's?? |

Yes, but it's old news now. The usual stuff. It was interesting to hear the nego's and swat people checking in, and they blocked off the street of course. I snagged a bunch of new callsigns on Trunker, and all in all, it was just another tactical operation. |
