I've found a new hobby of digging through the FCC database for Yakima County and am finding some interesting stuff doing it. Last night I came across a license for a surrounding Fire District that licensed 5 VHF freq's. 153.7475, 154.8225, 154.8825, 156.0375 and 158.8125. What makes it interesting to me is that they were licensed through APCO. License can be seen here: http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSear ... ey=3030335 Call sign = WQJB921. Is somebody playing on their own Tac Channels? |

who is the contact for the other systems the FD uses? they could have been contracted or used for the filing and paperwork. they might have also installed the package for the FD |

It appears they just used APCO to file the forms for the license....And Yakima County 4 is adding some channels to their repertoire! Where is that district in relation to your agency? |
