Can anyone confirm who operates the Helo that uses callsign "BOISE 1"?

Boise 1 & BOISE 2 were up yesterday on LERN, guiding ground units to grow ops.

Boise 1 is up again today over a different are (very hard for me to copy) but was talking with a County Disp on LERN, looking for a deputy that can be "guided into a grow".

It looks like the operator of BOISE 1 / 2 is flying over various areas, and when they spot some grows they call into the county they are above to get a ground unit. Sounds more like an "ad hoc" effort as opposed to a planned, interagency task force type op.

Those of you in So Pierce / Thurston Counties should have some GOOD LISTENING today on LERN 155.370.

It's usually an Army helicopter, maybe somebody can listen to Gray Tower 119.325.

I was going to say DEA but if I remember right, they borrow aircraft from the Army or US CBP.

I'm not sure who is was other than a National Guard Unit. I was the male voice on LERN trying to coordinate the deputies to come to LERN and get them to the site. They all of a sudden came up on LERN asking for us, so not sure what they were doing. Possible doing training, and saw the grown from the air. Grows are very distinctive from the air, hard to miss if you know what they look like.

Interesting, this was the second day of this activity.

The day prior to them calling you, they were over Kitsap/Pierce Counties and doing the same thing, guiding ground units into grow locations. Before the day was over I heard them bag 4 or 5, and there were still at it as I went out of range.

Some funnies:
"Go back to where you were, do a 360 and you will see it... you guys were probably excited..."

"these are big, real big, well hold on, I can give you a count from up here. (number given) ... yeah these are big"
