Puyallup had a house fire at the top of the Meridian south hill today, across from the 7-11. Operations were all on 154.265, FireComm F-4 Puyallup FD E2, L3, Batt Chief, Sumner/EPFR E13, CPFR Battalion 66 and Engine 66 were all in attendance, as well as others incoming as we tried to get out the area.   Puyallup PD was there too:

Blue light on that Impala suggest that it's an unmarked PD unit; Puyallup? And I see another marked car but can't quite make out the shield. What were the cops doing there? |

Yes, that's one of the Puyallup PD powersquad cars, IIRC. The marked traffic unit is another Puyallup PD car. The cop were there for at least three reasons- 1) traffic control, 2) possible arson investigation; and 3) crowd control. Cops always roll on fire calls. |
