I'm looking for a list of all the Medcom frequencies, their tones, and if and what talkgroups they are linked to. Intercept database is partial. |

I don't know how to post links to previous posts, but if you search previous posts on "Medcom", you will see numerous messages, including one I left here about 8 months ago that lists all 10 medcom channels. Sorry to seem lazy, but I can't remember the actual order, and it is here in the archives. They have added the 12.5 KHz channels between into the Medcom mix (although I don't know if they are in uses here in PNW). Also, the most recent list I have seen from Part 90 even identifies all of the 6.25 KHz channels that fall between with Medcom channel identifiers as well. |

here is all the Medcom Frequencies that i have been able to find, enjoy, sorry i just couldn't get the tones for ya :D UHF Ultra-High band Med 11 and above, are the new narrowband channels as designated by the FCC, and must be coordinated locally, and with the FCC. They are currently in limited use in Michigan, and will be slowly expanded across North America over the next few years. 61808 is patched to 463.0 (179.9). I'm not sure if the patch is in place all the time; I only listen to 463.0 on a portable UHF radio (and mostly at night). 61840 "Might be patched to Medcom-5" thanks to Paul's notes on the KC TRS. Seattle Fire uses 2000 and 2032 fairly often. 2000 is used more often than 2032. Make sure you have 155.34, as AMR uses that all the time. |

And here's the thread, just for reference: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1568 Just want to emphasize, yeah, I hear Airlift on Medcom all the time. I don't think they have radios that will get on the KingCo TRS. I think the Trauma/Medic One doctor at Harborview uses a UHF radio too, because I've tuned to 468.0 (the input for 463.0) and heard Harborview loud and clear. Medcom-01 is repeated from Squak Mountain and maybe a few other sites too. Airlift's dispatch is on 155.295. Sometimes you won't hear them. |

That is why they like to use State Op's 1, and 4 for air-ground.( who can blame them, I would do the same) The problem is a lot of fire guys dont want to hastle with messing around with their radios when a dispatcher can just patch a conventional Tac Ch with a 800 Talk group. I also like to be able to have airlift in my ear at work in case something goes wrong. The system is working, and I know that there is only so much room in those birds, but it sure would be nice if they could just get their 800 radios onboard with King/Sno county. AMR, and Rural Metro dont seem to have a problem. Sorry for the Hijack :roll: |

All the King County and Snohomish County TRS Radios have State Ops, Just the other day we were talking to ALNW from State Ops 1, no problem. |

The problem is, Not everyone Wants, Knows, or are Willing to play that way. We could make a whole new multi-page topic on this stuff, and now that Im on vacation from playing Firefighter for a while, It could lead to a lot of upset people on both sides... So I try and only vent when I cant take anymore.... I still have a bit of time till I flashover :mrgreen: |
