Anyone have any frequencies for Cities of Auburn, Algona and Pacific public works. Also any for King County Roads would be cool too.

I've seen the Auburn PW trucks outside my house; the have what look like UHF antennas on them, but I don't know if they use the radio anymore. During the time I was watching, they never went into the truck to call anyone and when I wasn't watching Close Call didn't pick anything up. They probably use cell phones, which may or may not be powered by Nexthell.

155.085 is the frequency for City of Auburn Public Works/Police (via the database here). The license (KDE229) is still active, but I've yet to hear any traffic on it. Maybe I should have listened this morning--I saw a sanding truck drive down the dry street in front of me.


King County is on the trunked system. Do a forum search for WSDOT and you'll find their info, though there's not much to be heard in South King.
