Ellensburg WSP is correct, everything in Dist 6 is 123.0

I had 155.655 as a 100.0 tone , maybe it's changed.

I have Kittitas County programmed into my scanner for my excursions to Eastern Washington and I have it as 151.4 also.

Wil... is the Snoqualmie Pass FD dispatched by Eastside? Seems curious to me that they are using the same freq and tone as Eastside uses for their VHF Dispatch simulcasts!

Snoqualmie Pass FD is dispatched from Eastside Dispatch in Bellevue as part of Fire Zone 1.

Ahhh..... Not knowing exactly where their boundaries are, I was thinking it may be across the county line into Kittitas County.

Thanks...

You're actually right -- Snoqualmie Pass fire is a joint King/Kittitas fire district. Technically it's two separate fire districts, because it covers portions of both King and Kittitas counties, but it operates as one entity.

Can you confirm or deny that Kittitas SO is still using 155.160 (141.3) to chat on car-to-car? I haven't heard anything there on my last few trips over the Pass...

Kittitas County SO uses the following freqs for "chat"
155.790 / 155.565 / 156.150

Here's what I have listed for those:

155.790 (100.0) KCSO/EPD Tac-1 (repeated, with 155.130 in)

155.565 (100.0) KCSO/EPD Tac-2 (simplex)

156.150- I have this as both the input to Grant County SO 158.850; and Yakima County SO Tac-2 simplex tac channel shared with YCSO SAR.

155.160 used to be used by KCSO road guys for chatting informally, mostly about traffic along 90. They called it Tac-4. I have a note that says it was also used by Kittitas County OES, but unconfirmed.

156.150 for years was a Central Wa law net, but I think with LERN and other depts having access to each other with multi-channel radios, it may have other allocations .

One wonders if 156.150 is the 'TAC-3' in that list...

Great job on the After Action!

I've been wondering for years, why up on top of the pass, I can only hear WSP Ellensburg dispatch, not the mobiles. I use the input side until I get down the slope and pick up the Ellensburg repeater.

Back in the 80's, and I would imagine until the current Grant County system came to be, 156.150 was the primary for Ephrata PD.
