I just started hearing aid units communicating to Stevens Hospital on TG 60112 within the last week or so. They are giving patients reports while inbound to the hospital. Has anyone logged traffic on any of the other talkgroups assigned to the hospitals in Snohomish County? It's been the practice of Everett Fire to use their cellfones for this type of traffic (based on a ride I once had to take in one).

It has been the practice of most SNO-COM & SNO-PAC agencies to use cell phones to call the E.R. using the Aid Car (BLS) phone line or the Medic (ALS) phone line. Who did you hear using the H.E.A.R. T.G.

Firedawg is right, in fact I have never used the HEAR radio in 12 years that I can think of...

That being said,

Every hospital has their own talk group avail, and I sometimes listen in on them at work... usually south county units every now and then pop up on it... ( I can only think of 2 or three times, but there are units playing with it.)

It was an aid car but I forget which one. Aid 12 or Aid 16, I think. I've heard traffic on that TG about 3-4 times. Next time, I'll pay more attention to which aid or medic unit it is.
