Post subject:  The Perfect Radio System

Looks like the tiny town of Waitsburg, WA. has the "Perfect" radio system for scanner heads. The town of 1500 person just north of Walla Walla has a Police channel on 155.01 and a Fire Channel on 154.43. Both have a remote base and receive station located on a hilltop just east of town. But unless "someone messed up" BOTH the Police and Fire are relayed on the same channel : 453.40 R / 458.40 FX1. If you monitor 453.40 you will hear BOTH the police and fire. Alright !! (stations KLK-683 & KBG-280).

Perhaps they use different PL tones to select the remote transmitter...

Those are old Style Reapeter input Freq.'s 70s Early 80s Technolegy. Didn't Know There Were any old Systems Still Around,

I Used to Listen to Spokane County on 460.500 and 465.500 S.O and County Fire,
