Can someone tell me what TG on the Sno. trunked system would cover: 1. FD#7 (Clearview) 2. Sheriff dispatch for the area south of Mill Creek, north of Bothell, east of Lynnwood. I assume south dispatch, but... Thanks. |

Talk Group for East Co fire ( Dist 7 is one of them ) is EP Tac 3, You are correct with the South Sheriff. Im kinda confused what you are asking for though, are you just looking for the names of the Talk Groups, or the Scanner Id's? |

Ken, Thanks for the info. I did not word my question well. TG numbers for the units in those areas. I think I know based on what you told me (TG 656 and 528 would cover the FD units in that area) and TG 1648 would cover the dispatch of south Snohomish Sheriff units. Did I get that right? Obviously I haven't been working with the trunked systems much. |

you want east county trunk which as follows 003 East Simulcast 867.67500 868.36250 868.38750 868.58750* 868.61250 868.75000* 868.92500* the freq's with stars are the control channels, so with your scanner set the control channel only mode and just put the *'s in as the trunk freqs for the system. then talk group 1648-PD/656,528FD and you will hear the radio light up. |

Thanks, I put those TGs in and they come in fine. I just wanted to make sure I was hearing the units that were most local to me. I'll just mention that I put in the frequencies shown on the Intercept NW page (I just put them all in), which has completely different control channels than the ones you cited. The freqs from the Intercept NW site work very well, and I hear the TGs fine. I don't really hear the control channels (ie., the control freqs are quiet) cited from the link/page that you mentioned, so it doesn't track anything. Maybe those are for locations much farther east than me. Odd, but it's working with the frequencies from the Intercept NW page. |

i also have the following information west cell covers everett mill creek mukilteo lynwood edmonds mountlake terrace east cell covers all not covered by west then there is cells for, deer creek, north mountain?, so basically you need to decide if you are located in the east or west, choose your side then you will hear the correct data for your half of the county. you said the intercept database is correct. 868.3375 SNOHOMISH COUNTY (WEST SIMULCAST) (CONTROL CHANNEL) 867.9375 SNOHOMISH COUNTY (WEST SIMULCAST) (SECONDARY CONTROL CHANNEL) each database lists east and west opposite of the other, I would assume that the link i provided is correct since its updated by the user pool and someone updated it in 2007. The way to solve your problem is just listen to where people are being dispatched, if you hear all sides of the conversation, and the conversation is for an address on your side of the county then you have the right cell. |
