| Post subject: | Gig Harbor fire unit number reconfiguration |
Hi has anyone noticed the Gig Harbor fire unit numbers have been changed today? Engine 521 was responding to a accident and on the radio he said "Engine 521 responding... correction engine 51". The dispatchers were not used to the changes also. Sounds like they have made changes today. Any response on this? |

Gig Harbor changed their numbers today to stations 50 through 59 as part of a county wide renumbering plan. East Pierce switched earlier to stations 10-19 and station 110-119. Orting Valley switched to stations 40-43. Graham has switched to stations 90-97 and Edgewood / Milton to stations 80-82. |

I went to the East Pierce open house last Saturday. I saw these pieces of apparatus. Engines 11, 12, 13, Ladder 13, Medics 13, 16, Aid 15, Supports 12, 169, Marine 11, Utility 16, Chiefs 102, 104, Fire 112, 114 Station numbers Station 11 Headquarters Old Buckley Highway Station 12 214 and 120 Station 13 Sumner Station 14 West Tapps Drive Station 16 234 and 410 |
