Greetings!
Each year SEAFAIR sponsors a boatload of events throughout the northwest. None of these events would occur without the help of several thousand volunteers who turn out in support of the events.
While there are many volunteer opportunities available, I am posting here to let the Northwest Radio community know that we are always looking for a few good radio heads to support Communications Logistics at the main event, the Key Bank Airshow and Chevrolet Cup Hydroplane Race that is held down on Lake Washington.
Volunteers are asked to pull a few 4 hour shifts at the event, and in exchange, you get a T SHIRT!
Actually, there is much more to it, including an opportunity to see the event through a completely different perspective. Volunteers also receive passes to the event for friends and family.
To enroll as a volunteer, follow the link below and click "New Volunteers" on the left side of the screen. As you complete the enrollment process you will have the choice to select the team you wish to join. Communications is listed as "Airshow Communications", and by selecting this team you will be enrolled with the group who supports communications for the entire event.
