63027 - seems related to the protests at the port of Tacoma (http://www.king5.com/topstories/stories ... 427c4.html) |

It's possible that this was PSOPS S4 patched to a King County PSOPS talkgroup. The paper said that Seattle PD was operating there as well. PSOPS S3 is 62992, so I assume that PSOPS S4 is 63024. |

63024 is active along with LERN. I can verify WSP, SPD, and TPD traffic. I have heard the same traffic talking about Tac 4 and Tac 5. I also heard a reference to PSOPS, but nothing like S-3 or S-4. The TPD dispatch stated she could not copy Tac 4 which probably isn't patched. Trunker shows 63024 is patched, so I assume Tac 5, LERN, and 63024 (PSOPS S-4?) are included in the patch. Tac 4 was for escort of Humvee's. I ran trunker on KC/Valcom and found only LERN to be active. I may be wrong, but maybe if SPD selects PSOPS S-4 that their radios connect to the Tacoma system, thus not requiring a patch. This would apply to POS as well. As a side note, I saw a Port of Seattle unit heading North from Tacoma on 21st SW in Federal Way this morning. I checked Port of Seattle using trunker and found no activity while the above talk groups were active. Just my observations, I will continue to monitor for a couple of hours. Any other input would be appreciated. Vince. |

He might have a take home car. I know of a Tacoma officer who took his car all the way home, to Chehalis. |

I know that. I stated in my post that I monitored the Port of Seattle system to see if there was related traffic and there wasn't. Vince. |

My response was for Renton. I understood yours about the Port of Seattle officer having a take home car. I think Renton missed the fact that I was monitoring the Port of Seattle trunk system as well. I didn't intend to cause any confusion. Vince. |
