I am hearing quite a bit of local DNR traffic in Moses Lake on 151.310 using CSQ. I do hear traffic on 159.420. Anyone else heard other channels in Eastern Washington. From my listening post I am able to use a directional 12db gain antenna on a rotator. (Amazing what can be heard.) |

I heard some activity on 159.420 saturday afternoon. A couple of guys mentioning they would be together on a partrol. I'm on the Eastside and the signal was 100% on my BC-246t (which is deaf compared to my XTS) I'm guessing the repeaters are somewhere up Snowqualmie...too lazy to query the FCC database. I can't remember what the tone was, but it didn't match the NWradio database; it seems DNR/USFS stuff has multiple tones for everything. It was either 100.0, 103.5 or 141.3hz. -Mike |
