I live near station 41 in Dist. 40. Awhile back a nice new Spartan/H&W engine had been delivered and placed in service as Engine 41. It was there for maybe a month, and now it's been gone for about 2 months with the the old Spartan/Darley back in service in its place. Anybody know what happened? Did it go back to the factory or something? |

Yeah -- black over red, new Spartan/H&W long cab. I got the answer I was looking for. Apparently it's gone back to the H&W factory due to paint problems. |
