I often hear eastside Fire say, when at a call " go to State ops or try State Ops" I heard it again tonight. I have a few freqs in my scanner that are listed as state ops. but they never activate. Can someone shed some light on this and maybe post a list of State Ops freqs or TG ID's if that applies. Thanks |

I should say these are simplex only, meaning 3 watt radio will only carry it so far, as in a fireground situation, someone on the outside of the building has to monitor the freq to relay. Thank you. I thought those were the ones. I guess its just a matter of them being low watt. fireground type like you say.. Makes semse as to why I am not hearing them |
