Who is Norcom, I have been told that Norcom, a Regional Communications Center that will be replacing the Eastside Communications Center in Bellevue.

What gives?

That's actually a really good question. I have a vacation home on Snoqualmie Pass, and thus keep up with the fire department there somewhat. I found out about this through their webpage:

Little departments like Snoqualmie Pass fire can be greatly impacted by this initiative. It's complicated, but it looks like they want to dissolve EPSCA and create a new, larger eastside agency that's more of a conglomerate of all public safety agencies on the eastside. I wonder how this will effect radio communications?

EPSCA and BDC are 2 different orgs.

EPSCA provides radio coverage.

BDC, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell and Issaquah provide the dispatchers
