This has been a very annoying problem since I got my radio shack pro97. The only work around I have found so far is either to hit "Scan" or lock out the frequency.

Has anyone else experienced this, or know of a different workaround for the problem ? I programmed this receiver by hand - I did not use any programming software.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Renton,
Thanks. I have Snohomish system in Bank 0 and yesterday went through the frequencies to make sure they were all set to Motorola and that seems to have made the difference.

Have a great one :)
