I know Tacoma has a 800 trunk system. I did have the control channel as the following. ( 867.9875 ) Do anybody know any other control channels for them. I had problem picking them up this morning. I can pick them up from Puyallup.

I did here on Tacoma N Radio (460.150) they were having trouble with it being scrathy. Told the officer to use South dispatch or use a regaular potible.

Tacoma N PD Dispatch 52176
Tacoma S PD Dispatch 52304
54096 some sort of Fire Channel

Unable to pickup the Tac channels.

They switch control channels:867.9875 and 868.2500 are the two I have seen them use most but I have all the freqs. programmed in just in case.

52176-N. Tacoma dispatch(simulcast pretty regularly)
52304-S. Tacoma dispatch
52272-S. Tacoma Tac
52208-Tacoma Data
54704-Tacoma Fire dispatch(somewhat active)
54672-Tacoma Fire(somewhat active)
54096-A.M.R. Medics(very active)
53168-Tacoma refuse(very active)
53200-Tacoma refuse(very active)
53360-Tacoma solid waste/recycle(very active)
53680-Tacoma Maint. Ops.(very active)
53296-Tacoma water Ops.(very active)

None of these are confirmed but are what I have "figured" out so far.

Are there any Apco25 talkgroups on this system? I have a reletive in Tacoma who's looking for a good trunktracker scanner, and was wondering whether I should reccomend a digital bearcat or Pro-96.

Thanks in Advance.

Any digital on Tacoma is encrypted. Don't bother with a P25 radio. Won't help at all.

Most of their traffic is analog. Most of the traffic you are hearing now is just patched UHF traffic. Look at trunker, and you will see almost all the traffic is analog and patched.
