Good Morning!

So, I found the King County trunk frequency lists, and I can infer, sort of, logical groupings. However, I'm lazy. So, I thought I'd ask someone who'd already programmed KingCo or Seattle trunk in to a bank, especially into a BC785, if he or she would be willing to share the specifics.

Thanks!

Control channel and trunk frequencies, in the right order. Trunk type, if it's not obvious. That sort of thing.

Thanks!

Well the system is a Motorola Smartnet Type II trunking system, so you don't have to program anything in other than just the control channel, that's it. As long as your scanner can derive the voice channel from the control channel (and most scanners can, but I'm not familiar with yours) that's all you need. It's not like a LTR or Edacs where things have to be programmed in a certain order. It's actually amazingly easy to scan.

If you have a REALLY OLD scanner that can't do that - it'll be much more difficult. I would get a new(er) one if that's the case!

Just try plugging in 868.175 (Seattle) or 851.8125 (King County) and away you go.
