I was listening to WSP on 154.935 then they told Mt Veron to go to Car 4 frequencies What is car 4?? frequencie Is something to do with aircraft? |

Thats what I'm saying. Wenachee area is widly used on the West side, Snohomish, Skagit, Kitsap, and probably more, for C-C. Since the days of 154.845 simplex. So a road unit requested comms to go to the C-C channel? Odd for WSP, nowdays with nextels and MCN. |

My brother in law is a state trooper. They still use C-C all the time, and the mobile data computers are pretty much just in King County. I don't think they use nextel's at all. |

The MCN computers are in almost all districts, but they don't always work as designed. Olympia troopers on c/c channel were discussing the down side of this. They still tell certain troopers to 'activate' their cell phones from time to time |
