Hello all I've been listening to the VALL COM looking to hear KENT FIRE, and kent FIRE, I live a block or so from the pd station and fire stations, I'd just like to know whats going on around me! Or are they using the KCjail site, I don't hear arny thing onthe control ch. fro that site. THANK YOU FOR any help STEVE |

First, it sounds like you may have programned your scanner wrong. If your only hearing the control channel, then you need to check and see if your scanner is programmed according to the manufacturers directions. Also, you should only need to program the KC Similcast frequencies to listen in your area. Are you trying to listen on a scanner capable of monitoring a trunked radio system? If not, then your going to have problems listening. Once you get your programming situation straitened-out, here are the talkgroups you should be listening to for your area(Kent): Fire-1: 38448 (Kent FD is dispatched by Valley Communications) Fire-2: 38480 Fire-3: 38512 Fire-4: 38544 Fire-5: 30672 Fire-6: 30704 Fire-7: 30736 Kent Fire Admin.: 38832 Kent Fire Preven: 38864 Kent PD Primary: 37136 Kent PD Tactical: 37168 Kent PD Admin. : 37200 Those should get you started. :lol: THANK YOU CAR, I'm using a BC250D I guess I should have been more clear I just wanted to confirm the C C ch. of 868.4250 I'm picking up the PD dispatch BUT nothing fore the fire or aid oh well thanks for helping. > tow truck LOL |
